WHAT'S
SO DIFFERENT ?
These days there's no reason why so much school photography should be stuck in the dark ages. Given the choice, how many parents would opt for an overly formal shot, taken against a rather strange mottled background? Our aim is to deliver superior quality school photographs - pictures as good as any contemporary portrait studio - but at school photography prices. What's more we can offer parents a chance to choose from a range of pictures (often 15 or more for each pupil). The result is delighted parents and good commission for the school. We achieve this using skilled photographers working in our fully equipped portable studios. We spend just a little longer with each child. We play music, use props and make it fun. We can then offer parents a selection of really great pictures to choose from. We know it's not just about the pictures. We understand how much schools value an efficient and reliable service. We also know how much some schools appreciate flexibility so that their own particular requirements can easily be accommodated. So that's exactly what we do.

THE DAY
We set up one or more of our of our fully equipped portable studios in the school hall, gym or other suitable space. Each studio needs approx 6m x 6m and access to an electricity supply. We spend just a minute or two with each child and take a number of pictures. If possible we play music and use props to help create an atmosphere that is relaxed informal and fun. We ask the school to organise a schedule based on classes or year groups and to allocate one member of staff to help organise things on the day. Where we are photographing siblings who are not at the school, or family groups we prefer to do these at the end of the day. A single studio can accommodate approximately 200 - 250 children in a typical school day. For larger schools we are happy to provide a second studio and run these in parallel when space permits.
VIEWING
& ORDERING OPTIONS
PAPER PROOFS Our preferred option is to provide letters inviting parents to buy the pictures. These will include clear instructions, prices, an order form and proofs of the pictures. These are supplied to the school sorted by class for easy onward distribution to parents. ONLINE VIEWING We find that paper proofs are most effective when combined with an invitation to parents to view all their pictures (we typically take 10 - 15 of each child) securely in their own password-protected album on our website. This option also enables parents to buy other products from our portrait price list (see 'Products' above) at 20% below their usual list price. They can also have their pictures put back online at any time for up to 3 years if they wish to order anything else. Some schools like to ask parents if they are happy to use this viewing method in advance. We can provide a draft letter explaining how this works, and we are happy to be flexible if some parents would prefer not to do this. TOP COPY PRINTS As an alternative we are happy to supply top copy prints together with a price list/order form, packed by class to be distributed by the school on a sale or return basis
A 10% EARLYBIRD DISCOUNT is applied to these prices when ordered by the EARLYBIRD DEADLINE; (usually 2 - 3 weeks from receipt of viewing cards).
