Prêt-a-Portrait
is a new kind of photography company.
We
specialise in producing informal, contemporary pictures of children
and families at prices well below those commonly found on the high street.
We do this by working in a different way to more traditional photography
companies.
No high street shops or studios
Instead we take fully equipped studios to schools,
village halls, family hotels, country clubs, health clubs and
holiday centres. This makes it easy and convenient. It also means
we have no property costs so it helps us keep prices down.
No
second visit to view and choose your pictures
Instead we put your pictures in a password protected
album on our website so you can view all your pictures and choose
what you want at your leisure. It means there is no
pressure and no hard sell and
it’s another reason we can keep our
prices low.
We
take great pictures
They are contemporary, informal and fun. They are
not stuffy and overly posed. To do this we carefully select &
train all our photographers. We believe that talent, temperament
and people skills can often be more valuable than years &
years of experience. We work hard to make sittings fun –
we play music and we use props - that way our customers have a
great time and they get great pictures. |

Fund-raising
Much
of what we do raises funds for good causes. We are proud that our work
has raised money for causes such as Great Ormond Street Children’s
Hospital Charity, Addenbrookes Hospital and numerous schools, nurseries
and playgroups.
We
do this by agreeing to allocate a proportion of the net sales value
to the cause. If you would like us to help you with a fund raising initiative
we’d be only too happy to hear from you.
